General Conference

Here are just some of the things I took note of during the Saturday sessions of General Conference

Robert D. Hales
Each temptation is to strengthen us, not destroy us.
Joyfully living within our means.
Do you really want to buy that now? Or do you want to take a dream trip later?
Temporary vs. eternal
I will give away my sins to know thee.
Feast upon that which perisheth not.

Margarest S. Lifferth
Reverence is profound respect with love.
Self mastery is the root of self respect.
Reverence invites revelation

Allan F. Packer
This is a wonderful time to be alive.
We need to apply the gospel principles till they become natural. A habit
Testimony is a personal witness.
Testimony is to know and to feel, conversion is to do and become.
Experiment on the word.

D. Todd Christofferson
Knowing not merely believing.
For when i am weak, then I am strong.
Divine covenants make strong Christians.

Henry B. Eyring
So far Henry B. Eyrings talk is my favorite. I loved it, and I love when he speaks.
Tragedy did not erode their faith...It brought peace.
Trials endured well bring blessings in this life.
Still smiling
I have fought a good fight.

M. Russell Ballard
Learn the lessons of the past
You can walk boldly in the light without stumbling in the darkness by learning the lessons of the past.
You can't txt message faith and you can't google a testimony.

Kevin W. Pearson
Faith is a principle of action.
It requires an understanding and knowledge of our lord Jesus Christ.
Faith is truly a spiritual gift.
Faith requires exact obedience.
Personal righteousness is a choice
There must needs be an opposition in all things.
Fear and faith cannot coexist
We get what we focus on constantly
D's of Destruction
Doubt
Discouragement
Distraction
lack of Diligence
Disobedience
Disbelief
In a household of faith, there is no need to fear or doubt

Rafael E. Pino
At times we mourn, but we do not mourn without hope
These are the times to show loyalty to God
How he lived, not how he died.
